My name is Kevin Birrell. I am a 16 year old student at The Overlake School in Redmond, Washington.

I’ve played the game Tetris The Grandmaster (also known as TGM) and its subsequent sequels (Tetris The Grandmaster 2 The Absolute Plus and Tetris The Grandmaster 3: Terror Instinct) for about two years. In that time, I’ve become quite likely one of the top ten players of the series outside of Japan. Currently, I play TGM-related games about 2 hours every day. I don’t have any specific goals in doing so, but I’d like to improve my ranking and maybe one day even become the best player in the US.

My goal in creating this blog is to describe my progress (or lack of it) in this series of games. Expect some neat little diagrams, screenshots, and general descriptions of my trials and tribulations as an avid player of what I believe to be the best game ever created.
